What an absolutely awful situation to be in; I feel so very sorry for Frances Inglis.
It is so easy to sit back and say what is right or wrong. But the truth of it is that no-one can judge someone’s choice in this matter. How would it feel to see your son left brain-damaged after a tragic accident? Most people who have heard about this case will, thankfully, never experience the same thing. DNA Database Solving Less Than 1% of Crimes
Over the years there have been many proponents of the DNA database all of whom believe that having one will lead to more crimes being solved. Well in what can be considered a victory for the civil liberties persons among us, evidence presented at the Commons’ home affairs committee, suggests that the database is not accomplishing its intended goals.
