Racial inequality Running Wild In The UK
An independent race relations body has pointed out that racial inequality in Britain remains an issue despite the progress being made. It also says that extremism and segregation are on the rise.
The last report by the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) before it was disbanded urges our political leaders to have integration as a priority for the country.
The report states that despite the successes, ethnic minority Britons do not get a fair deal. The report recommended some ideas to help solve and one of the recommendations has to do with increased discussions on identity and what citizenship means to be a part of the school curriculum. The report also called on the CEHR and the government to make an explicit commitment to the creation of an integrated Britain.

The highly critical report into the records of government departments on race relations, saying that no government department was
The commission said it had asked its lawyers to begin legal action against 15 government departments and agencies and said it expected the CEHR to continue the legal action.
The report labelled the findings extremely disappointing. Departments and agencies also failed to collect accurate data on the ethnicity of staff members and failed to analyse any disparities in the data.
For this country to move forward the findings of this report must not be ignored. Steps must be taken to start the process of racial equality going in a positive direction.
